Writer of Fantasy genres. Descendent of Edgar Allen Poe (possibly). Fan of dark twists (definitely). Hears voices when she writes (who said that?).

I've been a fan of what was just considered literature back in the day, but is now classified as Children's and Young Adult/Teen Fiction. Narnia, Middle Earth, and Camazotz weren't imaginary places. I lived in them. Frequently. Thank goodness my parents gave me shelves full of books that I could escape into. After teaching the great books to high school and college students, I now try to write ones that others might read, still sticking with my love for fantasy, paranormal, and sci-fi. 

My tagline is based on my love for escaping into different worlds: I Believe in dreams...And I Dream to believe!
